[RC] '09 Trace/ Important - rides2far@xxxxxxxxHey Southeasterners, I did a bit of checking and it's like I figured. Angie Fura took a big financial hit when the disastrous weather decided to arrive on her ride weekend. We all want to have rides, but there's no way we'll have them come back if an individual loses thousands of dollars due to bad weather. I figure I don't have to go up and lame my horse just to be able to pay my share, so I asked about sending a donation. It appears that the best way to do it is to designate it towards one of the ride's expenses, like glow sticks, or vets, (Maybe some ride that's going to have a 100 can buy her unused glowsticks?) since checks directly to Angie aren't tax deductable. Lord knows I'm as cheap as anybody out there, but hey, I consider this an investment towards next year. If she doesn't get to have that ride I'll have to spend more money for gas to go somewhere else. It's an investment. I'm not an insider on that ride but am betting that April, the website geek (that's a complement) can figure a way to make it easy for us to sponsor some portion of the expense.
