Re: [RC] Tidbits from the Trace - rides2far@xxxxxxxx-"If I had a green horse... I would've skipped..." So I guess, if you know you know your 'green horses and riders' are competent and fairly predictable, and you've made sure to train them under all/most conceivable circumstances - the trail's conditions and the weather on a particular day - are not as important as your >>>>>>training and preparations.. I wasn't worried about brain training, (much) I was worried about tendons and ligaments. If I were you I wouldn't breath easy *yet*,as often as not you don't know what they've damaged until later. I and at least one of my friends have won BC before, only to have the horse show up lame the next week from that ride. The more "Competent" I get the more predictable I am....you can predict me to expect the worst >g< Angie _____________________________________________________________ Lose up to 20 lbs in one month with a new diet.
