RE: [RC] best saddle for 2-point position? - Diana Peterson
Well Tara.... here is my expirience...fresh from today ...just got back working with my trainer.
First i got the right saddle for my horse and me...in our case it is a Euro Light model from www.specializedsaddles.com
we are very happy with this saddle.
Then .... to get a better trott...my trainer ( he is a reining trainer) I work with him about once a month to keep my horse tuned up.
After i told him that my horse does this huge trott and i cant find a rythem for or even post comfortably ..he had me work on his headset. We worked on circles and collection and on his stop and backing up...just to remind him how i like him to carry himself..
and ohh wonder...i had a GREAT trott forward but not CHOPPY and i could nicely stay with him. problem solved...we just where getting a little too sloppy. :-)
Just something to think and ponder about.
Diana
