I had a gelding in training several years ago that was an
endurance prospect for me. He had been a stallion until he was 7 and was also
a little spoiled so I got some professional help with him after a couple of
near run aways at rides. The trainer (who primarily worked with quarter horses
and thoroughbreds) had two names for Mojo (her first Arab), one when he was
being good (Prince of the Desert) and one for when he was being bad (Sand
Bastard). We thought that was pretty funny.
