Hello Julie, I seem at times to be a part of
the past and when it comes back again like the mention of Eva and Hugo it seems
like just yesterday. It was a wonderful experience to have known Eva and
her love and devotion to Hugo. She was a fierce competitor and rode the
GAHR w/ her Tevis buckle as part of his headstall. She was kind and a most
loving Lady i Love to this day. There are many emotions i
feel.
Having been quoted in the GAHR of 1976 book i'd
like to repeat what i said then and every day it rings more true to her
memory....
"Tom Sites described Eva "as one of the nicest
people you will ever meet. She was always open for conversation and
treated her animals like children. The world needs more people like
her." page 217 Eva died in 1992 and left behind her tapes of
all the riders meetings.
Eva is a wonderful human being and i just wish the
world knew more of her. Bless you, Eva.
