I know -- from personal experience -- that AAA doesn't. They will handle the tow vehicle, period. As far as getting your trailer and horse somewhere safe -- you are entirely on your own.So, for me, this story isn't that disappointing. The issue of what constitutes a "single issue" is much farther down on my list of priorities than having a company that can and will find one or more tow companies to get me and my horse off the freeway. One thing that Laney's story as compared to Karen's brought out -- it looks as if it is much better to determine, up front, where each piece needs to go; i.e. truck needs to go to the shop, and trailer + horse need to go home. Then, the dispatcher can determine how best to accomplish that.
