Re: [RC] state fair express unofficial ride results - Nancy SturmI AM bothered when vets don't make an effort to understand gaited horses--but am not bothered when it takes them a bit longer to mentally process a gaited horse for an anomaly, since we just don't see that many of them.I've been riding LD's for a couple of years on a little TWH. I tell the vet "This is a little gaited horse, but he usually trots in hand." De. Jen usually answers "Pick a gait, any gait, and stay with it." Others have said "As long as he 's the same on all four legs." At one ride I didn't mention his gaitedness and he trotted out, but gaited back. Mike Foss asked, "A Tenenssee Walker?" It's really not been that much of a problem. Nancy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
