[RC] Opinions on Calming Products wanted - susan cooperI'm looking for honest opinions, not lectures on these products. My mother is 74, and rides a horse that is safe, but she is just a passanger on him. She will not do "training" period. He has gotten progressively chargey and competitive lately, and she is talking about going into a bigger bit (by-product of riding with a cutting horse person). I don't want her to do this, as I know controlling thru pain will likely get her a runaway horse trying to run from the pain. Soooooo, the other option is to change his brain thru some of these calming products on the market. He will not be shown, so I don't give a rats a*% about testing positive or not, I just want mom to continue enjoying going out on her horse. Some products contain Valerian Root and others promote none of that. What works best??
