[RC] City Slickers - Kathleen A. CrothersThanks to Terry and all her helpers for a great ride. I enjoyed the ride even though I was super paranoid of riding in the mud. I live in the Ozarks and my horse's corral isn't even muddy and trails I ride are mostly hard packed and rocky. Luckily Dually is an easy horse to rate and very careful on rough going. I took it super easy to assure my horse's legs stayed sound. It worked and he even kept his shoes on! I was the rider in the bright orange slicker and looked like the giant pumpkin! Congratulations to Jim Barnett for reaching his 10,000 miles a day after his 79th birthday. It was a pleasure to ride with him! I loved the trails and want to come back when they are dry so I can enjoy the good going. The only problem for me was the out of camp vet checks since most rides I go to the vet checks are all in camp. I had a hard time keeping my horse from eating everyone's feed. He thought he was at a buffet. With no crew it was a challenge for sure. Thanks again an d happy Trails, Kathy Crothers CT region =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
