I learned the hard way, you should cover the fiberglass arm om the Hi-TIE, as the heat and cold cause it to dry out. I owned mine for 4 years and my horse spooked when someone started up there diesel engine and the arm bent in half. He was not hurt but the system was no longer usable. Cover them with the insulation used on pipes and this should not be an issue.
