Of course it's true if you are one of the top FEI people who is getting their salary paid by the money coming in from the FEI cut in the prizes. Just imagine the pay increases that have been possible since the Gulf started paying in! The new perks along with the places to visit and the free hotels and so on. Why the mind boggles!

If the other FEI disciplines didn't have big money sponsors like Samsung and Rolex and so on, where would the FEI be? Imagine all those top folks selling pencils on the corner to support the welfare of horses. On the other hand, without all of that money coming in from competitors maybe someone would take care of equine welfare....
