Re: [RC] Cold and blanketing horses - Beth WalkerI can't speak for really cold temperatures -- I live in San Diego, so "cold" to us is probably near-summer to you folks in really cold areas. We can (and have) gotten 80 degree days in December. Full winter coat + 80 degree temps + hard workout just doesn't work too well.So, I generally do a trace clip on my horse, and that means he needs some protection when the weather does turn cold.
