Re: [RC] Rain coat - Flora HillmanI purchased a lightweight US Air Force rain coat from the Army/Navy outlet. The coat goes down almost to my ankles, has air holes for each arm pit and a open weave mesh on the back under a short shoulder cape, and is double layered with a fabric exterior and a rubberized interior. Breathable, yet waterproof. I tested it out this morning in the rain -- wanted to see how well the leg-loops worked that I had put on to hold the coat against my leg to prevent flapping, and also to see how well it would shed water. The answer was excellent on both counts. It was very comfortable for riding, kept my saddle and legs well covered, and kept me warm and dry. Flora Title: Rain coats Ok, does anyone know where I can get a good rain COAT? I've been searching for a while and all I can find are rain JACKETs. I need something that comes down past my butt, >because with the jackets, all the water runs straight off the jacket to my butt and it's not a comfy feeling.
