Re: [RC] [RC] I'm back!! - Maryanne GabbaniMaggie,I'm definitely still here and the opportunities for a teacher of ESL are very good here. You should check out the American University in Cairo. They would pay the best but there are a number of places that need teachers with your education. Cairo American College, the international school here pays very well and they might be looking. We could sure use someone who could open a farrier's school as well. I believe that it runs about $3000 to ship a horse but I could be wrong about that ...hopefully in your favour. The quarantine issues are basically nonexistent. I have friends.....bwa ha ha ha. We also have MUCH cheaper medical costs here and very good doctors and hospitals but be prepared to do your own nursing. There isn't much in the way of real endurance here still, but there is an active fifth column doing our best. If you all opt for the life of adventure in the Mother of the World (that's Cairo: Um el Dunya) you can count on some help and support. Sounds like you all could use it.
