Re: [RC] [RC] VV March madness - Maryanne GabbaniThat's not bad. I've been sidelined with bronchitis and visitors from the US (one of my best friends from 6th grade no less) and haven't been riding. Ideally, today I could have ridden either Bunduq, the energizer bunny or Negmadin, the cadillac, but I had a gang of clients along and two of them laid claim to the nice horses so I was left with the 5.5 yr old ditz Figgy. Not the best choice for a rehabbing rider and I cursed him the entire time we were riding. He has the Arab head toss down pat and hasn't yet learned that it's a stupid energy-wasting action. By the time we settled down on the way back home and were way behind the rest of the group, a trio of brainless twits on ATV's roared up to us despite the requests to back off. I was riding with my head groom who was also working one of the youngsters...the nice calm older guys were long gone...and I really lost my temper with these boys. They finally turned around and roared off only to reappear below some pyramids on the way home (pyramids can be nice but they can also hide hazards). I happened to know that they'd rented these vehicles of doom at the local country club so I went in to complain to the management and ask that the trio be drawn and quartered. I suggested that if one of my clients were to be injured by such idiots on club ATV's, I'd be coming in with lawyers, soldiers, thugs, and generally nasty folks to exact a kilo and a half of flesh. Said trio have been banned from the club for month and daddy has been called. I hope he whups those brats.Maryanne On Mon, Mar 3, 2008 at 4:21 PM, rides2far@xxxxxxxx <rides2far@xxxxxxxx> wrote:
