Casa Sagrada - Riding Vacation Retreat & Endurance Horses

"Casa Sagrada was designed and created by native Teotitlan artist  
Arnulfo Mendoza. The casa, a labor of love that took over 10 years to  
build, is dappled with handmade details, from shady corridors lined  
with blonde bamboo and blackened beams to its walls hung with  
original paintings by contemporary Oaxacan artists - including many  
of Mendoza’s finest works.

Canadian author, (and Oaxaca resident for over twenty years) Mary  
Jane Gagnier actively manages Casa Sagrada and everything - from the  
dishes served up to the trails trotted down - reflects her passion  
for all things rural Oaxaca has to offer.

Casa Sagrada is located in the native Zapotec village of Teotitlan  
del Valle. This community of artisan weavers is not only renowned for  
its rich traditions, lively fiestas and delicious cuisine but is also  
surrounded by one of the world's most diverse ecosystems.
