[RC] horsetrailerworld, sierras.... - terre...and an unsolicited testimonial. This fall I decided to switch from camper/bumper pull to LQ living quarters so that I would have the use of my truck. I had a very specific plan; I wanted a 2 horse trailer with midtack. These are very difficult to find. I looked on www.horsetrailerworld.com and found about 5 (in the entire US/Canada), one of which was perfect for me. It was in Casa Grande, Arizona--I am in Vancouver, BC, Canada! So I emailed the dealer (Paul Easley of Horse Trailers of the Southwest) and started discussions. Bottom line, I bought the trailer. He arranged for transporting it to me. I had concerns about 'how things worked"--were there manuals? He made me a series of video discs demonstrating how every part of it worked, what the various features were, etc--from stem to stern. While doing this, he found something that wasn't working right, ordered the part and had it repaired before shipping. (Since I was buying it sight-unseen, had he not done this I wouldn't have noticed it for months--it was part of the awning--and wouldn't have had any recourse in any event). He winterized it for me. All this for the original price + the cost of shipping. Although advertising on this list is verboten, buying a trailer is such a big commitment for most of us that when we experience exceptional service like this I think it is important to share the word! The trailer was a Trails West Sierra--if this is what the original poster was looking at she can contact me privately and I'll discuss it with her. terre =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
