RE: [RC] [RC] From Cat to dogs charging - Burnett, EllyI just bought some pretty potent stuff to keep my african grey parrot from eating the wordwork of my house. I believe it's similar to that bitter apple spray they sell for dogs, but it's supposed to be much more bitter. Since birds are so sensitive, if this stuff is bird safe, I'd think it's safe for about anything. You can get it online at Fosters and Smith, and it's about $6 for a bottle. You'd probably be able to dilute it a bit and load up a squirt gun. In fact, I sprayed down the woodwork one day and got it all over my hands and face and then got a papercut a bit later and put my finger in my mouth. Despite my gagging and rinsing, I didn't get the taste out for about an hour. Animals in the wild use nasty tasting things to ward off predators, and I think by using something that was unpleasant rather than painful would avoid any rage-type reactions.
