Re: [RC] AERC CONVENTION - Sisu West RanchI have not investigated sizes for 1 ton dualys, but for our small suv we found "highway chains" that are much easier to put on, and easy to tighten. They are a bit more money but....By the way, the trick to not having the chains break and ruin things is to make sure they are tight. There are rubber or spring tighteners sold for the purpose. It also helps to stop after a mile and re-adjust the chains. You also have to keep the speed down. When I plowed with chains in WI I stayed below 20 mph. Makes for a long trip.
