RE: [RC] hard keeper - heidi

Maybe I didn't have enough caffeine yet.  To do a really GOOD job, the dentist has to finish up with hand tools anyway--the power tools aren't the right tools for the job for the fine finish work.  They can save a lot of time and labor in the right hands--but I wouldn't want someone to do my horse that was not willing to put the finishing touches on by hand so that it is really "right."

I think the operative word here is "adequate" .  :  )   I wouldn't want a
vet using power tools on my horse that wasn't highly proficient either, but
the vets I use specialize in teeth.
