I have been working on a do it myself lq in my trailer this winter and I use 
a mr. heater for warmth. It will shut itself off before I even notice the 
lack of air, so it has to be fairly sensitive. I also have to watch how I 
position it, if its in a fairly enclosed corner, even with the window open 
it will shut off because its not getting enough air. I do have a carbon 
monoxide alarm in my dressing room also.
