I too, would like to see the ages and the conditions, now and in a few
years, of the horses that ran in this race. My first inclinations are to
agree that speeds in races like this are abuse. I don't want AERC to
sanction rides like this and I don't want to be part of an organization that
does sanction this. I think Cindy Collins is right, this is a different
sport and there should be two organizations. I absolutely agree with Lisa
Salas, "101 started and only 28 finished. Almost all of the pulls were
lameness...To that I say, bullshit."
What kind of horse person would do this to their horse? I guess the
kind that's in it for the money
