[RC] Last year's President's Cup winner... - Jay RandleHi AllLast year's President's Cup winner, Kaysand Farrazah, got 2nd place this year, and Best Conditioned! (A good Aussie horse!) As to the history of the Top Ten.... my horse, Splendacrest Kamouflage, who placed 4th, started his endurance training here in Queensland in late 2003, as a very solid 5 year old. During 2004, he completed 2 x 40km (25mile), and 3 x 80km (50mile) rides, and 1 x 100km ride, doing no faster than 14km per hour in each ride. He was sold and exported to the UAE in July 2004. Kamouflage is out of a QH mare, by a station sire that was 'believed' to be an Arab. During the time he has been in the UAE, Kamouflage has completed several 80km rides, at least 3 x 120km rides, and now this ride. I don't believe that he has been 'pushed' too hard over there.... but I know this horse! He is one tough bugger! Kamo's big trick while here was to buck. Not from any pain or discomfort, but because he always felt sooo good that he just had to show it! I wonder if he still bucks over there? Oh, the best part is... I still have his younger brother!!
