Bring your artistic capabilities to Sparks and stop by the Healthy As A Horse
booth. We’re hosting the KwikTwist Sculpture Contest at the AERC Convention
Trade Show.
What’s a KwikTwist? It’s a giant twist tie. KwikTwists
have zillions of uses from holding up water buckets (they’ll hold up to
100 pounds) to use as a gate closer to … well its uses are limited only
by your imagination. I was at a trade show once and we used them to create a
little pony sculpture. From there was born the idea …
Get your creative juices going and stop by for a sculpting
session. You’ll have four KwikTwists to work with (you pick the colors –
blue, red, yellow or blue) and 20 minutes to make your sculpture. Create your sculpture
on Friday and we’ll take a photo of it.
On Saturday, we’ll display the various sculptures on a
computer at our booth so everyone can vote on their favorite. This is a
“Rider’s Choice” award so we’ll be tallying votes to
come up with the 2007 KwikTwist Artist.
In addition to world fame (which is, of course, priceless),
the winner will also receive a pair of KwikTwists and a few other goodies. The
folks at KwikTwist International have asked that we send the photos on to them
– who knows what other fame and fortune could come your way if you win!
