[RC] horses, training, technology and tools - Rusty Toth

I am curious -

When training what tools i.e. GPS, heart rate monitor, electrolytes,
programs (GPS track logs by Garmin or other wise, spread sheets for various
information ect..) or log books do you use and why? Do you use these tools
for every training ride and why? Do you have a training regime you use -
what is it and why do you follow that?

Trying to get an idea of different training tools and programs and why you
think they work best for you and your horse. Understanding of course no two
people or horses are the same and all programs should be adjusted
accordingly I and I think most would find it most useful to hear others
ideas and logic behind them. It can only broaden our knowledge and expand
our views of training.

Cheers from a warm and sunny Arizona,

Rusty
