All the saddles made by Arabian Saddle Co. are
beautifully made. I have a Sylvan GP that fits me like a glove. I've
had it since Dec. 2000 and all it needs is some shoe polish to restore the
color. Unfortunately, it is only a wide tree, and for my present horse I
need an XW, so I am saddle shopping. 18" seat, XW tree, either
Solstice or Sylvan, if anyone has one for sale.
Hi Mike, I just read archives, so I can't get
your address. I ride a Solstice, and man, I love it. I bought it
last summer for $1125 on ebay, so it is possible to get them for less
than $2000. It is a beautifully made saddle and I have gotten better
about not tossing it around like I have the cheaper saddles I have used.
I don't have any experience with the other models you asked about, but this
solstice fits my mare and I to a tee - putting my legs right under me and
aleviating the knee pain I had with western type saddles.
