yes, you really have to ride them, but they can be anywhere/anytime - you get to choose.?
There isn't a minimum distance yet either or speed requirements or any of that. You could ride a 14 day mini-LD (5 miles/day) and do 90 miles!!! :) and just think how good you'd be with the tech. (And you've a reason now to go on the New Years Day ride!!
When you retired from riding (yeh, that'll be the day!!) you could be a volunteer VVTechie volunteer!! ?A VVTechV!

Carry on,? it might be fun.? Since these are "Virtual"? trails, do we "really" have to ride them?
I can plot a lot of miles on maps, have to learn how to do Google Earth though.
Since I didn't really ride many miles this year maybe I could make up for it this winter!
