[RC] Saddle-Tite (was: Iridon Breeches) - k s swigartBeverly Kane said: Anyone know a way to make slippery breeches more grabby without resorting to after-market sewn-on appliqués? Saddle-Tite (or it might be saddl-tite, or tight, or whatever) is a rub on (comes in a dispenser rather like chapstick only bigger) that can be applied to saddles (not breeches) to make them "stickier." Virtually every english (and western too for all I know but I don't know much about western showing) show barn applies it to the saddles of amateur riders just before they go into their classes. Since these people often show in white breeches that need to stay white, one nice thing about the product is that it does NOT stain. Works great too. I use it on my saddle for my Native Costume class, since silk pantaloons don't provide ANY grip to the saddle. kat Orange County, Calif. :) "If the end justifies the means, everybody is justified."
