RE: [RC] No sympathy!! - Juli JakubI have sympathy...but please have sympathy for me....Lake Placid is really cold...we have had a single digit days and negative digit nights. It is a balmy today...probably 20 or so... We have two feet of snow and it is still falling and we have a big storm coming in Saturday/Sunday...plus we had an ice storm in T-day that left crusty snow undernesth all the new snow. ( the horses love that)To make matters even more lovely we have seriously had no sun since Nov.24...that was the last day the sun came out....I like winter, but really this is too much! But the mountains are spectacularly lovely, the snowboarding has been great, and I have a lot of fun bareback riding in the snow ( my horses are spunky too..lots of bucking and throwing of heads...it is soooo fun!)and good bonding groundwork time...remember there is always a silver lining! There are days however that I desperately miss Florida!
