Re: [RC] Snowballs - Quentin & Libby LlopI haven't tried the snow and mud treads yet, but with regular EZ boots you won't have to worry about snowballs because your horse will be lying on it's side. I ride in snow a lot. We're currently foxhunting in snow three days a week. Go to this link and click on late season for pictures http://www.gvhphotos.com/. I get to watch the snowballs form in other peoples feet. Even without pads they do come out - especially at the trot and gallop. I do prefer to hunt my barefoot horses in this weather, but the shod ones do fine. LibbyBeth Walker wrote: Thanks for the responses, everyone. I'm thinking I'll check into the Easyboots -- assuming that we get any more snow at all this year. I can't see trying pads -- there just isn't that kind of snow around San Diego. :) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
