[RC] Dr. Miller's article - Sharon HahnI don't think Dr. Miller means that we're all a bunch of careless yahoos. But certainly the establishment of
mandatory vet checks has helped foster the culture we cherish - where we care thoughtfully for our
horses. I have learned a lot from ride vets. Probably the non-vets I learned stuff from learned things
from vets, too. Having the vets there provides an authority that says, "winning is NOT everything"
and I think this makes it easier for the average rider to espouse that philosophy too. --
