These shows are not unscripted.  The Producers write the script.

They are looking for someone who is *close* to an archetypical

character to fill the role they have scripted.  "Tough" vs "Pansey"

are favorite complementary archetypes.  I'm sure they'd love

to cast Angie.

 

But the Producers write the script.

 

At best, after editing, you'd see their caricature of Angie on

the screen, and Angie and her family would have to live with

these caricatures of themselves as every one else's reality

for the rest of their lives.

 

I prefer Angie's scripts of Angie.

 

That said, how much does it pay?  ;-)
