Fortunately not my horses, but today my friend has
discovered bloody ulcers in all her horses’ mouths, inside the lips.
There is no debris from foxtails or hay, and the horses are at two different
locations, miles apart, but getting the same hay, grass/alfalfa. Any ideas? She
flushed their mouths with a mild warm salt water solution and they seem to
appreciate that, but she is stumped as to the cause, just assuming it must be
something in the hay.
Susan? Heidi? Or anyone else ever experience
this type of (possible) toxicity?

archiving and I only get the digests.sherman at usamedia dot tv
