I taught in Pahrump NV in 1995- about 70 miles west
of Las Vegas,the area has grown tons since I left,
only stayed one year but if someone was looking for a
southwest year round equestrian spot it wasn't bad-
gets hot of course but has just enough elevation for
cooler evenings and even in Aug it was ok bearable
outside if you got everything important done like
riding and barn chores before about 10:30. Not the
prettiest place in my book but the sunrise and sunsets
make up for it- still miss that part.
