[RC] Patagonia: El Bolson Preparation - John Teeter

Well, Steph and I parted ways this week-end. She's off to beautiful beaches of Corta Azul Uruguay to follow up on the travels of the Malaysians as they look for horses and CoC's at the La Rocha 160km CEI*** event.

I, on the other hand, have traveled south to El Bolson Argentina, in the heart of northern Patagonia, just a few ridges from the Chilean border (but they are WAY big ridges!!!)

The country reminds me of the majestic beauty of British Columbia - but more - so much more. It is not possible to really give proof the grander of this land! and not at all what I would have expected to call horse country - but here it is - a "national" ride - not FEI!!! such a relief really - to be here - on a horse an preparing to do a 40km (is it REALLY endurance???) in Patagonia. Who'd have ever thunk it???
