RE: [RC] Farriers? Why not John Crandall - Ranelle RubinAngie,I am by no means a shoeing expert...and I slept in my own bed last night..What I can tell you from seeing the shoes of my horses when they were NOT balanced is when you take them off you see three things:One side of the shoe is thinner than the otherThe inside of the shoe on the thin side is darkThe hoof wall on that side of the hoof will tend to be concave.Hope this helps..I am always learning..and so is my shoer..One thing I appreciate is he ALWAYS asks, "So how has he been going?" Any farrier who does not care how our endurance horses are traveling is better shoeing pasture potatoes.Ranelle Rubin, Business Consultant http://www.rrubinconsulting.comIndependent Dynamite Distributorraneller@xxxxxxx 916-663-4140 home office 916-718-2427 cellular 916-848-3662 fax > To: suendavid@xxxxxxx> CC: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 21 Nov 2007 21:35:22 -0500> Subject: [RC] Farriers?
