Re: [RC] Heart rate monitors - Wendy MacCoubreyWhat an exciting question - I just got back from doing some Polar - Equine training as they have just launched there new nifty updated stuff. I have to say the new system is great and the new belt, all wireless, works wonderful. The new 800 model has everything speed, time, distance and heartrate - the program that comes with it pretty well thought out. After now having a few weeks to work with the new stuff - I can say "it worked great!"
I understand that you can get a belt to go with the current watches ( Might be the 600 series and up - you'll need to check on that) They have also priced themselves well!
Have a look at www.polar-equine.com for the lastest.

Transmitter line broke on polar HRM Does anyone know if it can be fixed? Has anyone successfully used the human transmitter belt adapted to your horse? I thought I had read on here someone had. Baring that, I see the UK has a HRM girth now. Does anyone have any experience with THAT or is there a US distributor? I've come so close to breaking the transmitter line that now that it is broke, I want to use it as an excuse to go a different route.
