[RC] Winter let-down - Susan Cushing

I am curious how much fitness people feel is good to keep through the winter?  In my area the rides are over and I will not be competing till June.  Do people still keep doing the "gallop days" or "sprint days"?  I just plan to have fun, but don't know if I should work at keeping anything I worked with while riding for the season.  Or do I leave these behind and pick them up next spring?
