I am soooo jealous!!!  Here in E. Texas, we have 3 100s within a day's drive.  One is when it's too hot for me to do it without getting sick, so really just 2 that I can plan on.  I see all of these neat rides, and they're all at least 2 days' drive away.  This one looks cool...description says it's mostly single track!  We need to move west...

Thought I would pass this information on to the list.  I received an automated notice today that there is going to be a new one day 100 mile ride based out of Big Bear, CA next September.  Kat Swigert, the manager for the Main Divide 100, will be putting on this new ride next September 13.  This is a great addition to our Southern California ride schedule and brings the total number of one day 100 mile rides in the So Cal area to 6 for the next ride season.  I think this is the most one day 100 mile rides we have had scheduled in this region in a a very long time, if ever.   With the rising cost of fuel, So Cal riders won't have to travel far to get to those one day 100s in 2008.
