RE: [RC] getting "mounted" - Mary HowellHey Jodi - I think I can top your story of your mare getting mounted while you were riding her at a ride. Growing up, I lived in a small town and my front pasture was right near a church and the town's restaurant, so I would pick up manure in the front with a wheelbarrow to keep the smell and flies down. Then a friend asked me to board her pony stallion with my old TB gelding for a few months while she was moving. One day, while innocently bent over scooping poop, I heard the pitter patter of little hooves. The next thing I knew, I was being mounted, with one of the stallion's legs was over each of my shoulders. I was able to push him off and get away, but being a gawky teenager at the time made the incident quite embarrassing! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
