And I kind of think your response taking what I was saying out of
context kind of exhibits what I perceive as issues with endurance and LD
specifically.

This is what I wrote.  When they were calling LD riders 'trail trash'.

Well I'm riding an LD this weekend I've ridden one other years ago.
Why.  I am testing a mare I may move up to open CTR.  Call me what you
want I'm paying my $70.  And the odds that I'll ever ride much AERC
stuff are pretty slim, this one is just handy on my home trails and a
good test at the right time, doesn't interfere with a CTR.  And
sometimes I learn stuff; sometimes it's what's not to do.  See ya.  On
the trails no matter how you ride enjoy!!

Kate, we *get it,* that you don't like AERC and endurance.

I do like AERC.  And I plan to ride more and more endurance.  Including
50's and ultimate goal, 100's.  I'm just starting slowly.  And I've
always felt very welcome in the *real* ridecamps, by the way!  <G>  A
person's attitude goes a long way, I think, to how they feel about what
they're doing.
