Re: [RC] Myths - Truman PrevattPretty much the same here. A few years ago I was out at an out check with the vet waiting for the 100's late in the afternoon. As we were standing around waiting for the 100's to come in - they had really slowed down - we got talking about the LD wars on ridecamp and one was going hot and heavy at that time. He said "we should send some of our LD'ers out west to show them how it is done?"I expect the MW, NW and SE are very close in how the LD has evolved. I also thing a big factor is organizations line PNER, SERA and UMECTRA that have providing the education and structure for new riders coming into the sport and yes support for riders at all distances. Seems to me if this model works - and I think it does work very well - other regions should be adapting it.
