[RC] 25 mile rides vs 50 mile rides - rides2far

I often see horses starting to drag a bit after the 25-30 mile lunch
break.

Both I and my horses tend to drag on the third loop or the 60ish mile
mark of a 100. I've yet to have one that didn't perk up and seem to
realize the fourth loop was "almost home". I think a lot of people expect
a steady decrease in energy the whole ride and judging by the third loop
think their horse is done for the day when he's really just getting ready
to hit his stride.
