Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] [RC] Ultium - Carla Richardson

It is strange, that they would do that.  I've never seen any special effort to promote it, yet it's their "top of the line" feed.  Instead, when any Purina reps do a presentation at a ride or seminar, they only talk about Strategy.  Then of course up goes my hand, and I say, what about Ultium, and they'll say, oh yes, that's our top of the line, ultimate feed!  But they don't promote it.

Can't imagine why the dealers have to have special training to sell it, but I'm sure glad both of my local dealers do carry it.

Ultium is hard to come by here.  There is only one feed store that is "licensed" to carry it.  I tried special ordering it and found out that Purina dealers have to go to a "special training" to be qualified to sell Ultium.

It reminds me of when Nutrena advertised the heck out of Legacy, but none of the local feed stores carried it, and it was even a little difficult to special order.  And then they wondered why they didn't have a market for it and discontinued it.  Dumb.

There's an info number listed on the ultium.com website, maybe they could help you.  The ingredients and analysis are listed on the webpage, but more info than that I think you'll have to contact Purina.

Does anyone have any information on the chelation properties of Ultium?
