The real-time video feed has suffered from the lack of adequate bandwidth here at the venue. It was spec'd as min of 2mb upload for exclusive use of the feed, and what was installed was 2mb DOWN/512kb up shared by everyone. It was too spotty to maintain the upload link. so they are archiving segments of the ride (which are still available for streaming).?
The rain is also posing interesting problems for all the photographic/video equipment here. Lots of water is not good for high end equipment. Makes me feel good about the "disposable" digital cameras that steph/i are using. It does get wet, but it's also not worth $10,000....:)
