[RC] Feeding - Bruce Weary DCI agree with you, Heidi. What I meant to imply but didn't say was that my horses have free choice hay all night, and as such, should have enough on board to keep their GI motility rolling along. I usually feed a very sloppy mash the night before, especially if they had to be trailered a significant distance and may have arrived a little dehydrated.I have been experimenting lately with an old feed recommendation, that of putting a little vinegar in the feed and/or water. The horses love it, and it apparently has some beneficial effects according to what I have been able to find to read about it. Anyone else using it?
