Floods.

Isn't that how the saying goes?  "California is the land of earthquakes,
fires, and floods."

Although, to be more accurate, what is probably next for much of
Southern California (the part that is down hill from all those fires) is
mud slides rather than just floods.

If we get any rain this year (unlike last year), then Silverado Canyon's
problems have only just begun.  During the second major rain storm half
of the Santa Ana mountains are going to be in everybody's living room.

The people of Southern California would do well to pray for another
drought year.
