Re: [RC] Heaters - Drin Becker" Likewise... the Mr. Heater manufacturer also told me their units were not suitable for use in horse trailers..." Also the Buddy heaters are not recommended for use at higher altitudes . I tried one for about a year at different rides and it would only work a small portion of the time . I finally read the directions and found that it was not recommended for the higher altitudes . I bought a Wave radiate heater and really love it . Easy and safe to use , even though I have small LQ I bought the medium heater which was recommended to me by a trailer sales rep , the small heater would of been more than enough heat as they work so well . At cold rides I have left the heater on all night on low with both the roof vent cracked and my trailer window opened up a bit . But at most rides I just heat the trailer up before going to bed and than turn it on again when I get up to feed in the a.m. Drin Becker Mtn Region =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
