"Ibn"  means "son of."  You could call him "Ibn <name of sire>" but that
might not work so well if his sire's name is, say, "Twinkle Toes."  Maybe
Ibn Colt  (Son of a Gun!)  Sorry, don't know the Arabic for a female
canine.  (One is never the son-of <a woman>, anyway.)  All of that
style naming is pretty Quarter-Horsey, though.
 
You could pick one of the famous "Ibn"s, like:  Ibn Saud, Ibn Rashid
(they'd love you in the UAE :-), or maybe Ibn Khaldun (famous Islamic
historian and philosopher).  Probably already taken.
 
What are your dreams for the horse?  Pick your "I" from that.
