[RC] Andalusian/ Arabisns. - Truman PrevattWant to know how what this cross can do - check out Adele Dennard's wonderful horse Calypso Dancer. Not only did he have the grace and eloquence of an Andalusian going down the trail - he kicked some serious butt in one of the more competitive regions of the AERC.They can get it done! I think in general people worry too much about what "this or that can do" rather than what they are capable of getting their horse to do. A good sound and healthy well conformed horse of any breed can do endurance. I have to laugh when I see these post, "can this or that do endurance." Many moons ago when ridecamp started, known then as "ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxx" a guy asked if we though his little Icelandic Pony could do an endurance ride. A couple of us told him to go for it. He did. The Pony's name is Remington. Last I check Remington had 10,350 miles and still going strong. Can an Icelandic Pony do endurance - ask John Parke. There is no ready made push button horse for the endurance trail. Just get on your horse, condition it and "Get'er Done", to quote that great American, Larry the Cable Guy.
